For each of his folk albums, Jucker gathers on stage a new backing band of weirdo friends. He toured his last record “Something Went Wrong” with Prune Carmen Diaz on choirs, Luc Hess (of Coilguns) on drums and Louis Schild on bass. Together and throughout the rehearsals they turned Jucker’s intimate melodies and minimal arrangements into a playful 90’s rythm-section driven rock outfit, that carefully carries Louis’s and Prune’s interleaved vocals.

After a one-year strip of shows in Switzerland and France, the ephemeral band will release “All You Hope For”, a two-track maxi vinyl that was recorded along the way at studio phonotope in Renens, CH. Everything was tracked live on tape, and the session was filmed and cut live on analog VHS as well. For the sake of instant fun and lo-fi obsession.

Louis Jucker & Band will present this new single at the infamous Bad Bonn Kilbi festival 2022 in Düdingen, CH. To celebrate and document this special show, Louis has invited a whole analog VHS TV-Crew to share the stage with the band. Should be fun to watch.
