KUNZ publish their sonic archives as a celebration gift for their 5th year of existence. OUR SONGS AS A PUBLIC SPACE is a 30 minutes collection of experimental punk anthems recorded in between 2009 and 2010. 8 different film makers were asked to realize original videos for each of these forgotten tracks. The only rule given was to put these tunes in the public space, to make them live, breathe, dance, run, to share them with whoever was willing (or not) to hear them. “this was a free and funny experiment, we had no further expectations than to see what pictures those guys would create with our sounds. KUNZ doesn’t have a restrictive aestethic to defend, but a lot of ideas to share.” explains Luc Hess.
